Speak From Scratch (“SFS”, “the Service”) is operated by Garv Joshi, a sole proprietor (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service provides AI-generated conversation practice in multiple languages. Responses are generated by an AI language model, not a human tutor, and are provided for language-practice purposes only.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information to create an account and are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or yearly per the plan chosen) until cancelled. One-time credit packs are billed once. All payments are processed by our payment processor, acting as Merchant of Record. You can cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. 4. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to generate content that is illegal, abusive, or that attempts to extract or misuse other users' data.

5. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated language content (including translations and pronunciation guides) may contain errors and is not a substitute for professional language certification, translation, or human instruction — do not rely on it for legal, medical, immigration, or other consequential decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence).

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
